Spooky season is here — and we’re not referring to all the movement in the FedExCup Fall standings. Amidst the October craze, PGA TOUR pros and their families took to costume to put on their best faces for some Halloween trick-or-treating.
The Finau family went above and beyond as the gang of Power Rangers, decked out in reds, blues, greens and yellows. Four-time PGA TOUR winner Camilo Villegas was an unfortunate victim of identity theft, as his son dressed up as Spider-Man — an ode to his unconventional method of reading greens. European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and wife Diane were quite the social butterflies, attending two separate parties as “Austin Powers” characters and Bob Ross (with his painting).
The real star of the show was the Hadwin family. When Nick Taylor made a 72-foot eagle putt to win in a playoff at the RBC Canadian Open over the summer, he ended a 69-year drought for Canadians in their national tournament. But the grand finish had one more firework in store, as compatriot Adam Hadwin ran onto the 18th green following the victory with a bottle of celebratory champagne … only to be abruptly and infamously tackled by a security guard. In a touching display of empathy, Adam Hadwin dressed as the security guard wish his wife Jessica portraying Adam himself. Their daughter reprised the role of champion Nick Taylor (with a plastic putter) to round out the family affair.
Callum Tarren opted for a more traditional Halloween theme — “The Wizard of Oz” — dressing as the tin man, while his wife Ashleigh McKenna embodied Glinda the Good Witch and their daughter a miniature version of Dorothy. Max Homa, wife Lacey and son Cam were out of this world as astronauts. ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP winner Collin Morikawa’s dog, famous in his own right for his appearance on Netflix’s “Full Swing,” won hearts as a hard-working mailman.
